My first square is in honour of Jason Stokes, son, brother, husband, father, friend, the man with the purple pig van, a true gentleman, the squire of Harwood, with his meticulously groomed beard and moustache.
He was the legendary site manager at Claypool School, the initiator of the superworm society, told rubbish jokes, loved winding people up, and could talk for England. He is pictured with his longbow, as a founder of the Flodden Marks Company of Longbowmen and an inspiration to so many archers over the years.
